New Line Theatre taking part in Diversity

By Esther Hayden

Wexford's New Line Theatre will be taking part in the Diversity Festival in Waterford this year.

The festival will include 'Converse' and 'Bitesize', at Central Arts on Wednesday, September 16 and Thursday, September 17.

Converse will feature dance, song and lots more while Bitesize will feature 15-minute plays and/or sketches. If you would like to submit a 15-minute play, or a story, poem or performance idea on the subject of what diversity means to you, email by Friday, August 21. Story, poems, songs or performance ideas should run to ten-minutes or less. The theme is wide open to interpretation and the group would particularly like to receive innovative and original takes on performance and theme.

The group would also like to hear from actors and directors who would like to take part in the festival but don't have a specific project in mind. There will be car-pooling from Wexford on both nights.
