Submissions are being sought for a show celebrating women at Infusion Theatre, Monck Street, in March.

The show 'What makes women special?' is to be held on the eve of Mother's Day - Saturday, March 5 - and just days before International Women's Day on Tuesday, March 8.

With that in mind, each piece should be inspired by, or dedicated, to a woman who has been hugely influential in your life - or the lives of others. All forms of original performance are welcome, including song, music, monologues, dance, comedy, poetry, short stories etc.

So whether it's a monologue about Mary Robinson, a poem inspired by your Mam or comedy about the leading women in your life, the organisers would like to hear from performers and writers of all genders. The show is directed by Elizabeth Rose-Browne and produced by March On. Pieces should be up to and including ten minutes in duration. The register your interest, email whatmakeswomenspecial@gmail.com before Sunday, January 17.
