WEXFORD Light Opera Society last week presented cheques from the proceeds of their Christmas Carol Singing 2015 to Meals on Wheels, South East Radiotherapy Trust and Friary Heating Fund.

Meanwhile, WLOS's next venture is a fundraising table quiz on Friday, February 19, at 8 p.m. at the Wexford Harbout Boat & Tennis Club. Teams of four are €40 and all are welcome, with some great fun and prizes lined up.

Funds raised will go towards the society's production of Evita in late April. The title role will be played by Aileen Donohoe.
