A large number of people turned out to celebrate the recent retirement of Garda Sergeant Mick Clarke at the Stella Maris Centre.

Mick served in Kilmore Quay for 14 years and was a very respected and popular member of the Kilmore Quay community, something that was very evident from the gatherin.

Members from various local groups and businesses such as the RNLI, along with his garda were in attendance to offer Mick the very best wishes on his retirement.
