The fifth year students at the Presentation School Wexford more than €1,000 for the Nepal disaster fund.

The students decided to raise the money after their school chaplain, Fr Tom Dalton, was one of eight Wexford people who managed to survive the devastating earthquake in Nepal.

The girls baked and sold rice krispie buns and brownies over a number of days and also accepted donations from the student body. A raffle was also held so that the total collected amounted to over €1,000.
