School of Rock

By Amy Lewis

Members of the Faythe School Rock Choir released their debut CD 'Because I'm Happy' last week.

The launch, which took place in the school's hall, featured a performance from the Rock Choir and the South End Singers.

Sales of the CD will be used to raise funds for the school's special needs fund and for the Rock Choir itself. It features eight specially recorded songs, all of which have been regularly performed by the choir since they were formed in 2012. The picure on the cover, which was taken by school parent Radek Slenzak, is an interpretation of the renowned Abbey Road photo, first created by The Beatles.

CDs cost €5 and can be purchased by contacting or texting 086 274 7282.
