Success for annual RNLI quiz

By Amy Lewis

Success was made all the sweeter for Mary Maguire when her clever bunch of friends beat her husband's team in the annual RNLI table quiz.

Mary and her team members Ena O'Donoghue, Rita Douglas and Martina Foley were crowned the winners of the popular event which always proves to be one of the most popular fundraisers for the local cause. This year, approximately €850 was raised.

According to PRO Wexford RNLI Lorraine Galvin, the event had a huge turnout.

'It's always a really nice event and it's well-supported by the same faces every year,' she said.
