The craic and ceol have been mighty in Wexford's pubs throughout the week as we now face into the final couple of days of The Guinness Singing and Swinging Pubs.

Some of the town's musical heavyweights have already hosted their nights, however, there are still a couple of real gems left to come.

There have already been wonderful efforts from pubs including White's Hotel, the John Barry and the Loch and Quay, all aiming to achieve top honours when the results are announced on Thursday night. Only six pubs are left waiting to host their nights, so if you're hoping to soak up some of the magic atmosphere that The Singing and Swinging Pubs offers, you better be quick!

Jack Baileys has a great tradition when it comes to the competition and its something they'll be hoping to build upon as their show gets underway tonight (Tuesday) at 9:40 p.m. After that it will be on to Chocolate Bar, before tonight's entertainment finishes The Mocking Monck whose show takes place at 11:15 p.m.

Macken's (9.30 p.m.) and The Thomas Moore (11 p.m.) are among those on the bill for Wednesday night, and then Thursday will be the final night of the competition as the judges descend on The Talbot at 10 p.m. for the final performances before deliberating on who will receive this years awards.

Results will be unveiled in The Bullring at 11:45 p.m. on Thursday night and the atmosphere is always electric as representatives of the competing pubs find out if they have been successful.
