The Wexford branch of Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann came back with a bang with a huge Ceili in the Talbot Hotel.

Over 400 people of all ages got on their feet to celebrate the launch of the third Craobh Loch Garman Comhaltas Group. Crowds of young musicians ensured that the music was flowing throughout the afternoon while eager dancers kept up the pace with the Walls of Limerick, the Siege of Ennis and more.

Between dances, young musicians from each area showed off their skills. With their renditions of songs such as The Boys of Wexford and Leg of the Duck, a young group from Curracloe proved to be one of the highlights of the afternoon.

The next event in the calendar for Craobh Loch Garman is the monthly Seisiún Ceoil at Westgate Centre at the end of February.
