Camogie positions filled at meeting

A number of outstanding issues were resolved at the reconvened Wexford camogie Convention last week, with John Kelly (St. Ibar's/Shelmalier) and Matthew Flynn-O'Connor (Duffry Rovers) ratified as joint Senior managers.

Barbara Ryan (St. Martin's) will remain as team administrator. Former Senior selector Mick Curran (Craanford-Monaseed) took on the role of Minor manager.

The role of Secretary was contested by Mary O'Reilly (Glynn-Barntown) and Susan Kent (Horeswood), with the former elected. Sub-committees ratified were -

Transfers, Hearings and Disciplinary: John Farrell (Oylegate-Glenbrien, Chairman), Breda O'Sullivan (Bannow-Ballymitty), Mary Hayden (Kilrush), Yvonne O'Connor (Geraldine O'Hanrahans), Seán O'Neill (Rathgarogue-Cushinstown), Larry Dunne (Monageer-Boolavogue).

Fixtures: Ray Quigley (Oylegate-Glenbrien, Chairman), Mary O'Reilly (adult), Lisa Smith (Under-14 and Under-16, Ballygarrett), Sinéad Dempsey (Under-8 and Under-10, Glynn-Barntown), John Cooney (Glynn-Barntown), Larry Dunne.

Regrading: Angela Gahan (Davidstown-Courtnacuddy, Chairperson), John Cooney (Senior), Aoife Roche (Intermediate, Blackwater), Caroline Barron (Junior, Rathgarogue-Cushinstown), Catherine Sinnott (Junior, St. Mary's, Rosslare), Margaret Coyle (under-age, Ballygarrett), John Finn (under-age, St. Anne's), Aiden O'Brien (referees, Cloughbawn).

The deadline for all regrading and transfers is January 20.
