Cúl Camps coming

The Wexford G.A.A. schedule for the popular annual Cúl Camps have been announced, with the programmes running from July 4 to August 19.

It is estimated over 4,000 children will take part, and online booking will commence on March 1.

This year an additional twelve camps are being provided, with new clubs such as St. James', Cloughbawn and Marshalstown hosting their first-ever events.

Another addition is the introduction of a second camp in the clubs with the biggest numbers last year. In total, 44 camps will be run which is an increase from 33 in 2015.

A camp will also be staged in Páirc Charman for all children associated with the clubs using the facility.

The full details are: Wexford Park, Piercestown, Kilanerin, Craanford, Adamstown, Taghmon, Coolree, Oulart (July 4 to 8); Tagoat, Killurin, Tomnahely, Monamolin, Mersheen, Bree, Oylegate, Horeswood (July 11 to 15); Hollymount, Rathangan, Bellefield, Gorey, Grantstown, Fethard, Farmleigh (July 18 to 22); Bunclody, Blackwater, Kilmore, Ballygarrett, Gusserane, Cushinstown, Castleboro, Ferns (July 25 to 29); Monageer, Piercestown, Killurin, Kilanerin, New Ross, Cushinstown, Rathnure (August 8 to 12); Páirc Charman, Tagoat, Craanford, Horeswood, Oulart, Coolree, Bree (August 15 to 19).
