Saturday, July 25, has been pencilled in as the big opening day for the GAA's centre of excellence in Lodgewood on the outskirts of Ferns.
July 4 was originally announced, but the event has been put back for three weeks due to the possibility of one of the county teams being in action on the first Saturday of next month.
Meanwhile, the monthly County Board meeting for June has also been put on hold for a few weeks to facilitate the completion of works in and around the site.
It was agreed at the May meeting that the next gathering would take the form of a viewing night at the centre of excellence.
All club Chairpersons, Secretaries and County Board representatives were invited to attend, and the meeting was originally due to go ahead tonight (Tuesday).
However, as the roadway into the centre has not been finished, it has been re-scheduled for Monday, June 22, when a full attendance will be expected.
The new pitches will get their first major test at the end of this month when Lodgewood plays host to a number of games in the national Féile Peil na nOg.
Sunday, June 28, will see the main events of a busy weekend of football being staged at the venue, with the boys' Division 1 cup and shield semi-finals on at 1 p.m., followed by both deciders at 3.30 p.m.
On the previous day, all four Division 4 shield quarter-finals will be staged there at 3 p.m., followed by the Division 4 cup equivalent at 4.30 p.m.
And all four pitches will be in use throughout Sunday also, as the day will feature the Division 4 cup and shield semi-finals at 11.30 a.m., along with both finals at 2.45 p.m.
Also down for decision there on the 28th will be the girls' Division 1 cup and shield semi-finals at 12.15 p.m., followed by the finals at 2.45 p.m.
The girls' Division 4 cup and shield quarter-finals will take place at 3.45 and 5.15 p.m. on the Saturday, with the semi-finals at 10.45 a.m. on the Sunday and the finals at 2 p.m.
