Retired Garda Joe Kelly is the new Wexford G.A.A. Children's Officer.
The well-known Gorey-based referee replaces Dermot Howlin, who was elected as the county's Leinster Council delegate at last December's County Convention.
His appointment was announced at the monthly meeting of Wexford County G.A.A. Board by County Chairman, Diarmuid Devereux.
Sales of tickets for the Model County draw came to 9,400 approximately.
While complimenting the clubs on their sales to date, County Chairman, Diarmuid Devereux, said there is an onus on clubs to meet their quota.
