New G.A.A. Development Officer Cathal Byrne from Ballyhogue is organising training for all club officers within the county to ensure they are best equipped to meet the many challenges involved with running a club in 2016.
To this end he has teamed up with Croke Park to run a club officer training event as part of their new Club Leadership Development Programme.
The club Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer and P.R.O. will be needed on two nights to attend training seminars provided by Croke Park-trained facilitators.
The event will take place on Thursday, March 3, and Thursday, March 10, from 7.45 to 10 p.m. in the Talbot Hotel, Wexford. Sign-in is at 7.45 p.m. and attendance will be required on both nights.
It's free to clubs, and those interested in attending should contact Cathal via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org with the names of the officers who wish to attend and their contact numbers no later than today (Tuesday, February 23) at 6 p.m.
Due to the limited capacity, priority will be given to the first twelve clubs who apply.
