GAA's timing was off

Making fixtures will never win you friends, but the C.C.C.C. of the County Board certainly didn't help themselves last Sunday.
For some reason they fixed double bills in Innovate Wexford Park and Monamolin respectively for 12.30 p.m. and 2 p.m., instead of 12 noon and 1.30 p.m.
That extra half hour would have been appreciated by club supporters anxious to make it back to their homes in time to see all of the Waterford v. Kilkenny hurling game live on TV at 3.30 p.m.
It was very poor form by the fixtures-makers, showing a total disregard for followers of the competing clubs. Is it any wonder the crowds are so poor at our domestic championship games with this type of couldn't care less attitude?
