Faythe Harriers are the Feile na nGael Hurling Division 1 champions after a stunning run to the title in Tipperary and Waterford this weekend.

Faythe Harriers 2-3 Glen Rovers 0-2

The Wexford Town side blitzed their way to the decider, winning every game by a comfortable margin. They faced Glen Rovers, for the second time, in the decider at Leahy Park, Cashel on Sunday morning but were 0-2 to 0-1 down at the interval.

Josh Sheil caught Richie Lawlor's ball into the full-forward line, ran in and fired low to the net to give his side their first lead in the fifth minute of the second half.

Late on, Cian Carty flicked home a settler, as the Harriers became just the second Wexford club in the history of the tournament to win the Christy Ring Trophy.
