Hill 16 will be empty

Hill 16 is normally well short of capacity one way or the other if the Dublin hurlers are playing in Croke Park and it's not a double bill with their football counterparts.

However, those die-hards who do faithfully stand behind the Railway Cup goal for all games in both codes will have to find alternative accommodation for the game against Wexford on Saturday, May 21.

It was announced that Hill 16 would be closed for the double-header (starting with Wexford v. Kildare in football) after a meeting of the Leinster Council management committee held in Portlaoise on Tuesday.

Presumably this has something to do with the time required to erect the stage for the Bruce Springsteen concerts over the following weekend which have upset so many arrangements already.

Ticket prices are: Hogan Stand (no concession), €25; Cusack Stand, €25; Davin Stand, €25.

Family tickets (one adult and two children, etc.) are only available for the Cusack and Davin Stands (adults €25, children €5). Supporters are permitted to purchase two Juvenile tickets with every one adult ticket purchased.
