The Wexford Senior hurlers earned an early-season test against championship opponents Dublin when they comfortably defeated Offaly by 0-14 to 0-6 in the Bord na Móna Walsh Cup tournament semi-final in O'Kennedy Park, New Ross, on Sunday, January 24.

The home side looked in control from an early stage on a barely playable pitch, with the lively Harry Kehoe leading the way as they surged into a 0-10 to 0-3 interval lead.

Kehoe finished with nine points to his credit, seven from frees, as Wexford eased into the final against Dublin which will be played in Croke Park on Saturday, January 30, at 5 p.m. as a curtain-raiser to the Allianz Football League opener between the Dubs and Kerry.
