The Doyle family, with roots in Rathimney, Gusserane, are the Wexford hurling club's main sponsor in Boston.

Joe's wife is from the States and is coach for the under-age Gaelic football and camogie teams in Boston. Cathy has travelled thousands of miles with the teams around the U.S.A.

When she is not with the under-age players she makes herself available to the club to help with the day-to-day operations.

The club would like to thank the Doyle family for all the support they continuously give.

Wexford hurling club in Boston was well represented on the Kilkenny Senior panel on All-Ireland final day in Croke Park. The club was very proud to see three former Wexford club players win their first Senior title with our neighbours.

Shane Prendergast from Clara played corner-back and replaced Jackie Tyrrell who was out with a season-ending injury. Michael Walsh from Young Irelands (Gowran) and Joe Lyng from The Rower-Inistioge were also on the panel.

These Kilkenny players have hurled for Wexford in Boston on the Senior team and distinguished themselves for the club.
