Ladies home in four league ties

The Division 1 league final between Shelmalier and Clonee, played in Ballyhogue on December 2, brought the ladies' football playing season for 2015 to an end.

Shelmalier emerged victorious on a scoreline of 2-12 to 2-6, completing the Senior and Junior championship and league double-double in the process. A big thank you to our fixtures committee for all their hard work during the year.

On the inter-county scene, the National League Division 3 fixtures have been announced, and Wexford will have three away games and four at home.

They are away to Down on January 31, home to Roscommon on February 7, home to Tipperary on February 14, away to Fermanagh on February 28, home to Waterford on March 6, home to Leitrim on April 3, and away to Offaly on April 10.

Play-offs if needed will take place on April 17, with the semi-finals on April 23/24 and the final on May 7.

In the event of a draw, the final replay will be staged on May 14/15.
