Ladies in final double bill

This Sunday, May 24, there will be two Leinster finals down for decision in the same venue with Wexford teams involved.

The Under-14 'B' shield final will see Wexford take on Wicklow. Wexford put in some fine displays last weekend in the All-Ireland blitz held in Portlaoise.

It was fantastic to see two Wexford squads taking part in the blitz after they have been training since last September, and hopefully they can collect some silverware next weekend to mark their hard work.

The second part of the double-header will see the Wexford Under-16 team take on Louth in the Leinster 'C' championship final. Wexford walloped Offaly in the semi-final and this is the team which won an All-Ireland Under-14 'C' championship final in 2013. They have continued to improve over the last two seasons.

It is expected that the venue will be somewhere in Kildare but it was not available at the time of this paper going to press. Please keep an eye on Wexford L.G.F.A. social media sites for the full fixture details during the week.
