Anyone taking a stroll along Wexford's Quayfront on Saturday night at around 10 p.m. may have passed by a group of fit looking young men wearing red t-shirts and wondered where they had seen them before.
It was none other than the Cork Senior football squad who spent the weekend around these parts as their preparations are stepped up for the start of the championship after a disappointing end to their National League campaign in the final against Dublin.
Manager Brian Cuthbert and his crew utilised the Faythe Harriers pitch for a training session on Saturday evening, and a few hours later they learned their Munster semi-final opponents when Clare defeated Limerick by two points in Cusack Park, Ennis.
Wexford has proven a very popular spot for teams on training weekends in recent times.
