Leinster draws made

We will know our first Senior championship opponents in hurling and football for 2017 when the draws are made as early as Thursday of this week, with the dust hardly settled on the recent Dublin versus Mayo replay.
And the Leinster Council threw all the names into the hat already last week to determine the pairings in the various other competitions under their control.
Our Under-21 footballers will be away to Carlow, with the winners set to take on Offaly in the quarter-final.
The Faithful county will also provide our first opponents in Under-21 hurling, while the Junior footballers have a bye to the semi-final and the Intermediate hurlers will await Galway or Kilkenny in the decider.
We are in tier one in Minor hurling along with Dublin by virtue of our involvement in this year's Leinster final, and the Minor footballers have also been pitted against Offaly. Special Under-17 competitions will be held in both codes with similar draws to the Minors to facilitate the easing out of Under-18 action from the calendar.
