Loreto claimed a deserved Leinster LGFA Junior 'B' title in Athy on Monday as they comfortably dismissed Moate with a sensational performance in heavy conditions.

The Slaneysiders were by far the better side from the off and really could have won by a greater margin given their complete dominance over an outmatched Westmeath school.

Heroine for Loreto was Emily Coakley. The St Fintan's clubwoman picked up the 'Player of the Game' award after a sensational individual performance that saw her notch 3-7 of her sides 3-13.

The game was over as a contest at the interval as the Wexford school used 3-5 from Coakley, and overs from Aisling Gouldson and Emma Codd to lead 3-7 to 0-3.

Things weren't quite as dynamic after the interval with Loreto adding a further six points from Ann Marie Bennett (2), Coakley (2), Rachel Bennett and Codd to book an All Ireland semi-final spot opposite the Munster winners.
