St. Martin's bounced back in style from their first round loss with a runaway 7-24 to 1-14 win over near neighbours St. Anne's in a one-sided Pettitt's Senior hurling championship Group A game in Innovate Wexford Park on Friday, May 6.

County Minor Rory O'Connor led the scoring spree with an impressive 3-4 while Stephen Murphy, Daithi Waters, Joe Coleman and Barry Lambert also grabbed goals.

The game was effectively over after 15 minutes when the wind-aided Martin's led by 3-4 to 0-1, and it was 5-14 to 0-5 at half-time.

A very impressive 7-21 of the winners' tally came from play, with just one point from a free and two points from exquisite Joe O'Connor line balls. It was an amazing transformation after scoring just 2-5 five days earlier.
