Murphy wins again

It has been quite an eventful year for Rathnure native Seamus Murphy.
The former Wexford hurling supremo has continued on his managerial merry-go-round, and this time his journey has taken him to Kildare.
Recently he managed Celbridge to win the Kildare Senior hurling title on a final scoreline of 0-17 to 1-7 against Naas, with his record now seeing him having annexed county titles in Wexford, Carlow, Wicklow, Meath and Kildare.
The Lilywhites followed up with a 2-20 to 2-15 win over Raheny from Dublin on Saturday and will now face Bray Emmets in the Leinster semi-final.
Last year Murphy steered Clanna Gael (Athboy) to win the Meath Intermediate hurling title, having previously managed Wicklow's Glenealy to a Senior four-in-a-row, so he will be familiar with Bray.
To copper-fasten another fine year for Murphy, he has recently been appointed Wicklow Senior hurling manager, taking over from his fellow countyman, Martin Storey, who stepped down after just one year in the role when he was assisted by Oulart-The Ballagh colleague Kevin Kennedy.
