Seen and Heard: Oisin's major impact

The turnaround in Castletown's fortunes can be attributed to a team talk and training session under the guidance of former All-Ireland winning Armagh attacker, Oisín McConville.

Castletown had been struggling in their earlier group games, with quarter-final qualification depending on the outcome of their last group game with St. Martin's, along with other results going their way.

As a last throw of the dice, McConville was contacted and attended a training session before the St. Martin's clash. He spoke with the players, took the training session, and the rest is history.

Castletown shocked St. Martin's despite being reduced to 14 men before half-time, in the process setting up a quarter-final clash with Fethard.
