Castletown see off sad Sarsfields
CASTLETOWN HIT 2-4 without reply in the last 18 minutes to deservedly defeat Sarsfields in the O'loughlin Cup Minor football league semi-final in Páirc Charman on Sunday last.
The beginning of the end for the home team came in a devastating 50-second spell near the end of the third quarter when they conceded two goals in quick succession.
The sides were deadlocked for the third time on 1-6 each when corner-forward Ross Bealin pounced for his second goal, and Sarsfields hadn't time to recover before impressive midfielder Gavin Stamp flicked home another effort from close range.
