Training for our under-age teams continue as follows this week: Under-8s and Under-10s, Wednesday from 6-7 p.m. in St. Peter's College; Under-12s and Under-15s from 7-8 p.m., every Wednesday (¤2 per session). All new members, please feel free to come along, make new friends and learn all the skills of hurling and football.
Once again we would like parents and players to note that we are still collecting tokens from the Irish Daily Mail newspaper. The token can be found on the inside of the back page. This is the last week of the offer, so your support with collecting these tokens would be greatly appreciated as we can get a full set of under-age jerseys if we reach the target. If you have tokens and would like to support us, please contact Mary on 0879967925, Tommy on 086-8653051 or Brendan on 086-8111868, or bring them along to the registration night in the Community Centre this Friday, February 5.
Under-age registration takes place from 7.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m., and adult registration takes place from 8.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. The registration system in the G.A.A. is now electronic. At the press of a button, Croke Park can now access all paid-up, registered players in any club.
There will be serious consequences for any club who registers a player who has not paid membership fees. All injury forms will now have a space for the player's registration number. Players should note if you don't pay, you don't play.
Anybody unable to attend on Friday night should contact Membership Secretary, John Cleary. Registration fees are as follows: youths and students, ¤10; adult player, ¤110; adult non-player, ¤20. Please note, youth registration forms MUST be cosigned by a parent/guardian before registration.
Friday night will also be an opportunity for parents/guardians to meet with club officials and team mentors.
The club would dearly welcome parishioners and especially any new arrivals to the parish to come along and register their interests in club activity or join as players or team mentors.

Adult training continues on Mondays in the Presentation from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Our first adult outdoor session of the year is also this Friday from 8 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. in the Rugby Club. Full attendance is expected. Players are then expected to attend the registration night.
St. Peter's College bowed out of the Leinster Colleges Senior football ' A'championship on Saturday last. It was hard luck on Mark O'Connor who was captain of the team.
Ladies' indoor football training will recommence this Friday, Under-12, 6-7 p.m., and Under-14 and Under-16, 7-8 p.m., in the Presentation School sports hall. New members are always welcome to come along and join in with the fun.
Congratulations to Aoife Tormey who is on the panel of the Senior ladies' county team and to Rebecca Foley who is on the county Under-14 county panel. Well done girls, you will be great assets to the teams.
