SHELBOURNE PUT in a battling display before bowing out 6-3 to Brookfield Celtic in the last eight of the Leinster Under-16 Cup.
A nervous first-half saw them trail badly and, despite a much-improved second period, it was a case of too little, too late. Niamh Murphy scored twice and Kate Cullen added one for the Ballywilliam girls.
Curracloe booked their place in the final of the Under-14 Cup when proving far too strong for Cabinteely F.C. Fiona Bennett scored an incredible six goals with Alysha Cullen on target twice and Gemma McCabe adding one in a fantastic 9-0 win.
