A TOM Elmes hat-trick served notice to Oscar Traynor manager, John Godkin, as he helped Duncannon to a 4-1 victory over Gorey Rangers in the Air Con Mech Cup fourth round clash.

Their remaining goal came from Keith Donnelly, with David Whelan getting the solitary Gorey Rangers reply.

Goals from Alan Colgate, Keith Furlong, Craig McGuire and Trevor Berry saw North End win 4-2 in their local derby clash with Wexford Celtic for whom Conor Meyler and John Sheil replied.

Tim McGrath was sent-off on two yellow card offences.

New Ross Town, with goals from Junior Somers (two), Mick Walsh, David Murphy and Barry Ryan, defeated Cloughbawn 50, while goals from Ian Brannigan, Darren Kennedy, Colin Kinsella and Ian Travers saw Courtown Hibs defeat Stoney B 4-0.

Two goals from Martin McKeown and one from Eamonn O'Brien gave Shamrock Rovers a 3-1 victory over Curracloe United for whom David Kennedy managed a response.

Meanwhile, Campile United with goals from Jim Wall, Gary Quinn and a Graham Howlin penalty defeated Corach Ramblers 3-0.

The Rosslare Rangers versus St. Cormac's game was off.
