Fundraiser on Friday
WITH THREE teams involved in Leinster finals this weekend and three more hoping for success in the All-Ireland finals in Galway at the end of the month, a major table quiz will take place this Friday night, March 19, in Mary Jo's Lounge in Barntown to raise much-needed funds for training expenses.
All are welcome to attend, with proceedings getting under way at 8.30 p.m.
Entry fee for a team of four is ¤25 and there are various prizes for the winners and for the not so brainy participants.
It promises to be a fun night, with the main aim of ensuring that sufficient funds are raised to ease the financial burden involved in preparing so many successful teams.
