SARSFIELDS: The Seniors have been drawn against Adamstown, Duffry Rovers, St. Martin's, Shelmaliers and Castletown in Group A of the WFC championship. The games will be played in that order, with the first taking place on the weekend of April 1315.
Our Under-14 boys will compete in Division 2 of the championship along with Craanford, Crossabeg-ballymurn, Ferns St. Aidan's, Ballyhogue, Ballinastragh Gaels and Hwh-bunclody.
The Juveniles will be in Division 1 along with Glynn-barntown, Fethard, Starlights, Naomh Eanna, St. Martin's, Shelmaliers and Gusserane.
The Minors' opponents in Division 2 will be Adamstown, Naomh Eanna, Hwh-bunclody, Glynn-barntown, Castletown, Ferns St. Aidan's and two amalgamated teams called Davidsgate and Bargyforth Gaels. Their first game will be on Sunday, March 11.
Welcome to four new players who have joined the club at under-age level - Jack Connolly (Under-8), Tiernan Mcguire (Under-14), James Somers (Juvenile) and Dylan Walsh (Minor). We have also lost three players on transfers - Nicholas Kelly (Under-14), Eoin Doyle (Under-14) and Tony Duggan (Minor).
There is training for all boys and girls aged six to ten in St. Joseph's Community Centre, Bishopswater, on Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. All are welcome, especially new players.
Membership is due and the charges are: family €80, adult €70, student/unemployed €35, under-age: €35 for one child, €60 for two children in a family, €70 for three children in a family.
Well done to our club trio who competed for Menapians in the Leinster indoor athletics championships in Nenagh last weekend. Conall Clancy won gold in the hurdles and silver in the 60m sprint, with his brother, Pádraig, and Shaun Donohue also performing with distinction.
Training for all of the girls' teams resumes this Wednesday at 6.30 p.m. on the all-weather pitch. If you have a friend, sister, niece or cousin who would be interested in joining, please bring them along as new members are more than welcome.

ST. IBAR'S/SHELMALIER
Congratulations to Katrina Parrock on winning her third Ashbourne Cup medal on the trot with W.I.T. in Waterford on Sunday last, scoring a goal in the process, and well done also to Kate Kelly and Jacqui O'connor who were members of the organising committee.
Circuit training for all adult players will take place this Thursday, February 23, in Hollymount at 8 p.m. sharp (please note the changed day and time from previous weeks). League games are expected in the Senior and Junior grades on Monday, March 19, with the Under-18 due to start on Sunday, April 1, so everyone is asked to make a big effort to attend.
A meeting of all Senior and Junior players will take place in Hollymount on Saturday next, February 25, at 6.30 p.m. sharp.
To those who have been asking about the club history book, please note that work is continuing. Because it is such a huge project and there will only be one chance to do it properly, patrons are asked to be patient - we promise that the end product will be well worth the wait!
ST. MARTIN'S
A big thank you from the officers and committee of Coiste na nog to all who supported our table quiz on Thursday night last in the Centre. There was a good turn-out for this fundraiser and everyone enjoyed the evening. Particular thanks to Mick Reade for composing and asking the questions. He even had the correct answers for most of them! It is Mick's intention to hold another quiz in about six weeks' time so don't worry if you weren't there last week, you will get another chance!
This Friday night there will be big celebrations in the club as the victorious Intermediate football team will be presented with their medals by Seán Boylan. The Hot Ashphalt will provide the entertainment and it is hoped that a large crowd will turn up to congratulate the team. Proceedings will get under way at 9 p.m. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

On Saturday last 18 members of the club successfully completed the foundation level coaching course.

Under-6 and Under-8 training commences this Saturday at 12.30 p.m. in the club.

Adult traning is at 6.30 p.m. every Wednesday in Mick Kelly's gym and Saturday at 12 noon on the Harriers allweather pitch. Membership for the year is €40 and must be paid before the first championship game. There is a committee meeting this Wednesday at 8 p.m. in the club.
CLONARD
The Intermediate football management team of Alan Stafford (manager), Paul Mooney (selector), Paddy Casey (selector) and Martin Gordon (kit/first aid assistant) was presented at a meeting in White's Hotel on Friday last. Training began on Saturday morning and continues this Friday at 8 p.m. and Saturday at 10 a.m. in the field.
Membership of Clonard G.A.A. club for 2012 is: adult players €80 and students/non-playing members €20, to be paid to Membership Secretary Damien O'donovan before the deadline of February 29.

Our Senior camogie team will play in the All-ireland Club final against DromInch of Tipperary on Sunday, March 4, at 3 p.m.

Congratulations to Louise Sinnott on winning an Ashbourne medal with W.I.T. They beat U.L. in the final by 2-8 to 0-4. The team was managed by club teammates Ursula and Helena Jacob. Well done to all.
