Well done to the Junior hurlers who beat Our Lady's Island in the quarterfinal of the championship on Saturday. Playing into a stiff breeze, they started well and led by 2-5 to 1-5 at half-time, with all OLI's scores coming from frees.

Congratulations to the Junior 'B' hurlers who beat Kilmore in the District fnal on Thursday last. Playing with the wind in the first-half, our lads got off to an early lead (0-5 to nil). In the second-half our lads stretched the lead to 12 points (2-17 to 2-5). Kilmore came back with three goals to close the gap. However, our lads deservedly held on, to win on a scoreline of 3-17 to 5-5. It was a good team performance with everyone working hard for the victory.

ST. MARTIN'S
Well done to our Senior hurlers who had a great win over Rathnure on Sunday evening in Wexford Park on a scoreline of 2-15 to 2-12.
This was a great team effort but special mention must go to Mark Butler who stepped into the goal at very short notice to replace the injured Phelim O'Connor. He was solid as a rock throughout and made a fantastic save from a penalty at a crucial stage of the game.
Our Under-12 boys won the final of the Model County hurling tournament, beating Gorey by 1-9 to 0-7. Well done to them and all their mentors.

Well done to the Wexford Under-15 hurling squad which won the Leinster development tournament on Saturday. Our own Jason Kearns was corner-back on the team. Well done Jason.
Our Under-16 ladies' football team was out against Fethard last week in the second-last game of the league, and a great game it was.
The game was closely-contested and there wasn't much between the teams at any point of the game.
The Vols had difficulty in finding the target and we could have had it well under control if these shots on goal had found the netting.
It was a hard-fought game and the girls gave it their all to achieve a welldeserved victory.
With only minutes left in the game and only four points in the difference, Fethard were awarded a penalty and Jessie Martin made a great save to secure the deserved win for the Vols
The Under-16s have the ability and strength to go all the way, but we need to get out as a team and train. Our next Under-16 game is at home to Adamstown.
A text will be sent out to the players when this game is taking place.
