Captains Nicky Murphy and Therese Glasheen, accompanied by the Junior Captains, Martin McLoughlin and Julie Rossiter, drove off in style at the drive-in on Sunday last. Weather conditions were just perfect for golf, and the nine-hole team competition was won by Helen McGuire, Eileen Doyle and Anne Conway with a great score of 41.
There was a terrific turn-out for the event with plenty of entertainment provided by Derek Cunningham and finger food provided by Mary and her staff. Both Captains wished the members good health and good golf for the forthcoming season.
