Congratulations from all club members to Jessie and Paul Harrington on the birth of their twin daughters, Abbie and Georgia. It seems that Paul was intent on doing things in twos last week as he also scored two points in the Seniors' 3-14 to 0-5 loss to Starlights in their All-County League opener in Bellefield on Saturday last.

THE SIXTH annual Gorey District winter league finals in Under-13 hurling took place over the last week.

WEXFORD EASED into their National Camogie League Division 1 campaign with a comfortable victory - as their defence kept a second-half shut-out - against Dublin in Monamolin on Sunday last. As much as J.J. Doyle would later deny it, this was very much an experimental line-out for Wexford.
