Juveniles back in action
THE WEXFORD Under-16 hurlers are back in action. The county has been split in two, with Gorey/Enniscorthy Districts forming Wexford North and New Ross/Wexford Districts forming Wexford South.
This is to give every player the best chance of making the final squad to compete in the All-Ireland competition at the end of August.
The Wexford South squad trained in O'Kennedy Park, New Ross, on Saturday week last under the experienced management of James Sheil (St. Mary's, Rosslare), Jimmy Furlong (Adamstown) and John Meyler (Our Lady's Island).
The Wexford North squad trained in Rathnure on Saturday last under the watchful eyes of management team David Kennedy (Naomh Éanna), Pauge Walsh (Rapparees) and Dave Guiney (Rathnure).
