ON the FAIRWAYS

The recent team of three event signalled the end of the season and Tuesday competitions are now down to 16 holes. Belated congratulations to Joan Bowe who had a hole-in-one on the eighth at the start of the month. Good one Joan!

The popular annual As v. Bs competition and dinner takes place this weekend, and good luck to all those competing.

On a beautiful sunny Autumn day all went well for Frances as she scored 36 points even though it was quite wet underfoot. Congratulations Frances and also well done to Susan and Eileen.

The O'Kennedy family are sorted for dinner on Christmas Day as Jean won the first of the turkey competitions. Some players might have been lucky to get a few feathers or the wish bone! Well done to Marie also on her good score.
