Taghmon paid a visit to Scoil Mhuire last week with the sixth division men's team. As usual in Clonard, play doesn't start until 9 p.m. and Clonard quickly raced into an early lead. This was reined in by Taghmon when Shane Jenkins and Clem Daly lost for the first time in this competition.
Captain David Dempsey restored Clonard's lead but the match ended in a 4-4 draw. The team will end its programme this week in Rosslare when they take on Ballycogley.

Taghmon: Des Winters, Noel Dunne, M.J. Dunne, John White.
Both fourth division teams are in action this week. The men are away to St. Martin's on Monday and entertain Ballycogley on Thursday, while the ladies travel to Ramsgrange on Tuesday.
