Draws made for all outdoor team events

WEXFORD COMMUNITY Games county officers made the draws for the outdoor team events recently. These are being circulated to all Area Secretaries and they in turn should pass on all relevent information to their managers - panel sheets, rules for games, signature sheets etc.

BASKETBALL: Round two to be played by April 11, semi-finals by April 18, county final on April 25. Venue later.

Five different events are to be run off. New this year is a mixed Under-11 competition. Kilmore play Ballycanew in the semi-final with the winners playing Kilrush-Askamore.

In the boys' Under-13 competition, Bannow-Ballymitty play Ballycanew in the semi-final with the winners playing Kilrush-Askamore. In the Under-16 boys' event, Bannow-Ballymitty play Castlebridge-Crossabeg in the semi-final and the winners play Ballycanew.

In the girls' Under-13, Glynn-Barntown play Kilrush-Askamore in round two and the winners meet Bannow-Ballymitty in the semi-final. Ballycanew play Kilmore in the other semi-final.

In round two of the Under-16 girls' event, Bannow-Ballymitty play Oulart and the winners meet Kilmore in the semi-final, while Ballycanew meet the Ring of Hook in the other semi-final.

OLYMPIC HANDBALL: Venue and date to be confirmed. In the Under-14 boys' competition, Ballycanew meet Clonroche-Poulpeasty with the winners facing Kilmore in the final.

In the girls' Under-14 event, Kilmore take on Clonroche-Poulpeasty and the winners play Ballycanew in the final.

SKITTLES: Round two matches are to be played by April 25, semi-finals by May and the county final on May 9.

In the girls' Under-12 event, Taghmon play Clonroche-Poulpeasty in round two and the winners meet CastlebridgeCrossabeg B in the semi-final, while Glynn-Barntown play CastlebridgeCrossabeg A in the other semi-final.

In round two of the Under-14 event, Clonroche-Poulpeasty play Taghmon and Glynn-Barntown play Bree-Davidstown B. Bree-Davidstown A play CastlebridgeCrossabeg in the semi-final.

FUTSAL: County final on April 18 - venue later. In the boys' Under-13 competition, Glynn-Barntown play KilrushAskamore in the semi-final and Taghmon play Castlebridge-Crossabeg.

In the Under-13 competition, Castlebridge-Crossabeg play Kilrush-Askamore and Glynn-Barntown meet Taghmon in the semi-finals.

UNDER-10 GAELIC FOOTBALL: Round one to be played by April 11, round two by April 18, semi-finals by May 2, and county final on May 8.

Round one sees Castlebridge-Crossabeg play Rathgarogue-Cushinstown and Tintern play Horeswood, with the winners meeting in round two where Oulart play Adamstown, Ballycanew play Kilmore and Glynn-Barntown play BreeDavidstown.

UNDER-12 GIRLS' GAELIC FOOTBALL: Round two to be played by April 18, semifinals by May 2, county final on May 8.

Round two matches see Tintern play Rathangan, Castlebridge-Crossabeg play Ballycanew, Oulart play Bree-Davidstown and Kilmore play Craanford-Monaseed.

CAMOGIE: Round two matches to be played by April 18, semi-finals by May 2, county final on May 8.

Round two matches see Bannow-Ballymitty play Piercestown-Murrintown, Oulart play Glynn-Barntown, KilrushAskamore play Horeswood and Clonroche-Poulpeasty also feature.

HOCKEY: Venue and date to be confirmed. Straight final between Castlebridge-Crossabeg and Glynn-Barntown.

VARIETY: Venue and date to be confirmed. Three teams entered. First on stage will be Taghmon, followed by BreeDavidstown and Clonroche-Poulpeasty.

HARDCOURT TENNIS: Venue and date to be confirmed. In the Under-13 mixed competition, Glynn-Barntown will play Gorey in the final.

In the Under-16, Glynn-Barntown play Gorey in the semi-final and the winners meet Clonroche-Poulpeasty.

UNDER-11 HURLING: Round one matches to be played by April 7, round two by April 18, semi-finals by May 2 with the county final on May 8.

Round one matches see RathgarogueCushinstown play Bree-Davidstown, Ballycanew play Craanford and Adamstown play Castlebridge-Crossabeg, with the winners of the latter match playing Horeswood in round two where Gorey will meet Oulart and Glynn-Barntown play Tintern.

ROUNDERS: Round one matches to be played by April 11, round two by April 25, semi-finals by May 2, finals on May 8.

In the boys' Under-13 competition, Piercestown-Murrintown play Taghmon in round two and meet Adamstown in the semi-final, with Newbawn-Raheen playing Glynn-Barntown in the other semifinal.

In Under-15 boys, Taghmon meet Newbawn-Raheen in the semi-final and the winners play Piercestown-Murrintown.

In the girls' Under-13 competition, Taghmon meet Piercestown-Murrintown and Newbawn-Raheen meet Glynn-Barntown in the semi-finals. In the girls' Under-15 event, Piercestown-Murrintown play Newbawn-Raheen in the semi-final and the winners meet Taghmon.

RUGBY/TAG RUGBY: One-day event, to be confirmed. There is just one team in the Under-11 mini rugby event, Ballycanew.

In Under-11 tag rugby, Kilmore play Piercestown-Murrintown and the winners meet Glynn-Barntown in the semifinal, while Castlebridge-Crossabeg play Clonroche-Poulpeasty.

In Under-14, Clonroche-Poulpeasty play Taghmon and Castlebridge-Crossabeg meet Glynn-Barntown in round two, while Kilmore play Piercestown-Murrintown in the semi-final.

In Under-16, Kilmore play ClonrochePoulpeasty and Taghmon play Piercestown-Murrintown in the semi-finals.

SOCCER: Round one matches to be played by April 7, round 2 matches by April 21, semi-finals by May 5. County finals on May 12 (as yet venue and date to be confirmed).

In the Under-12 boys, round one matches see Tintern play Glynn-Barntown, Oulart play Kilmore, Kilrush-Askamore play Ballycanew, Bree-Davidstown A play Clonroche-Poulpesty, Adamstown play Rathangan and Bree-Davidstown B play Craanford. Taghmon play CastlebridgeCrossabeg in round two.

In the girls' Under-12 competition, round one matches see Horeswood play Taghmon and Castlebridge-Crossabeg play Kilmore. Winners of the above play each other in round two where Rathangan play Clonroche-Poulpeasty, Glynn-Barntown play Bree-Davidstown and Craanford play Tintern.

In the girls' Under-15, round two sees Newbawn-Raheen play Clonroche-Poulpeasty, Kilmore play Tintern and Horeswood play Bree-Davidstown, with the winners of this match playing Rathgarogue-Cushinstown in the semi-final.

PITCH AND PUTT: One-day event, date to be confirmed. In the boys' event, Glynn-Barntown, Kilmore, KilrushAskamore and Taghmon have entered, while Clonroche-Poulpeasty and Taghmon are the Under-16 entrants.
