The Paddy Owens doubles were held in Ferns on Thursday in some not so pleasant conditions.

Final: Eddie Larkin (Monart) and Mark Farnan (Vinegar Hill) beat Denis Larkin Snr. (Monart) and Billy Cash (Doran's Bridge), 21-13.

Congratulations to Larkin and Farnan, playing well and winning in what was a good crowd, especially considering the conditions.

Wexford League standings with two rounds left to play are -

Division 1: The Woodsmen, 32 points; Doran's Bridge 'A', 24 points; Monart 'A', 19 points.

Division 2: The Ballagh, 20 points; Vinegar Hill, 17 points; Monart 'B', 14 points; Curracloe, eleven points; Doran's Bridge 'B', six points.

Only The Woodsmen are already guaranteed to appear in the league final to date, while The Ballagh only need one more point to secure their place.

The All-Ireland singles, ringers and doubles will be held in Tegral, Athy on Saturday at 11 a.m.

The singles will start it, followed by the ringers, with the doubles event closing it.

Best wishes to all Wexford competitors.
