There was a great festive crowd in attendance for the final meeting of the year and there was some cracker-jack performances on the track.
The last big final was won by local owner Joe Devlin, Wexford Town, when 'Hey Seamus' hit the ground running from his trap four box and used his early pace to good effect to lead into the back straight before coming away for an impressive victory in the Cooney Auto Repair A3 final in a very good time of 28.75. He has now won three from six starts.
The biggest roar of the night was saved for the very last race as young Master Dean O'Leary's 'Rocky Dee Rocket', who was most impressive when getting out well from trap six to lead his field, went on to record a superb 28.66, notching his eighth race win from just 16 outings.
The Eilish McCann Gorey owned 'Ballinclare Lad' showed nice pace to overcome a poor start before going on to score a fine win in a good 29.07.
There was also success for County Wexford owners and trainers at Waterford on Friday night with several finals taking place from an inventive stake where there were six first rounds heats and the winners all went on to run against each other in the winners' final and then the same followed as the seconds ran against each other in their final, and so on.
The John Roche, Barntown, owned 'Kingsmill Kerber' won the fifth place runners final in a good 29.13, while the Denis Kehoe and Jacqueline McCann, Ballymurn, trained 'Foxglove Arrow' took the final for the third placed runners in a good 28.96.
Rosslare owner Andrew Sinnott was also on the mark in race seven when his 'Anmima Madam' scored an easy win by six lengths in 29.18.
Harold's Cross also ran on Friday night and Monamolin owner Eugene Gleeson and Edward Mulvany enjoyed a fine win in race seven when 'Monamolin Tank', who had been running over the hurdles of late, returned to the flat and put in a fast run when scoring by seven and a half lengths in a fast 28.76.
