The semi-finals of the Track Supporters' A4/5 Stake with a fine first prize of €1,650 were run on Monday night.

The first semi saw 'Tomahurra Cloud' lead up from trap six, however down to the third bend trap one runner 'Codars Runaway' came through to lead and went on to beat the running on 'God Save Ya' by four lengths in a time of 29.26. 'Tomahurra' got the all-important third qualifying spot.

The second semi saw a very clearcut victory from 'Master Conor' who flew from the traps to lead and put the contest to bed very quickly, racing home nine lengths clear of 'Ballycowen Ann' who was a length ahead of dead heaters 'Town Mystery' and 'Town Belle'.

Belle went through to this week's final. The winning time was a quick 28.74 and Conor will be hot favourite after drawing trap four again in the final.

Thursday night's meeting was a fundraiser in aid of Bree United F.C. and the weather came up trumps. The fine evening drew a very large crowd who enjoyed a good night's racing.

Some nice runs were recorded and the quickest of these was in race seven when 'Elite Sammy' showed good early pace to lead and went on to record a very good 28.73, a career best, and his fourth win from twelve starts.

Race eight saw 'Strictly Private' record his second win in four days as he impressed on the Monday night when recording 28.98, and then he turned out again in this A1 to record an even faster 28.88. He had to battle past early leader 'Battledown' down to the third bend before going on to score snugly in the end, his eighth win from 28 starts.

There was an extra meeting on Saturday week and there was a huge crowd in attendance for the Michael Foley bursary fund and Enniscorthy Rugby Club event. A great night was had by all.
