Organisers of Wexford Runs for Nepal are hoping that their event attracts as many participants as possible to the outskirts of Wexford town on Sunday, July 12.
This 5k fun run and walk is aimed at raising funds for victims of the recent natural disaster in Nepal, and it will get under way at 11 a.m.
It will start at the Leisure Max premises before moving on to Sinnottstown Lane and travelling via Drinagh, Kerlogue and Coolballow, back down Sinnottstown Lane before finishing at Leisure Max where refreshments will be served.
An A.A.I.-approved event, those taking part may walk, jog or run, and the cost is €10 per person or €20 per family.
One hundred per cent of the funds raised will go directly to Trocaire in conjunction with other fundraisers, so you will be doing your bit to assist a very worthy cause.
Registration takes place in Leisure Max on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 9.30 to 10.30 a.m.
