Congratulations to Rosslare Golf Club on the continued success of their under-age development programme, and in particular to their unprecedented three representatives who have been selected on the new national golfing panels.
Gary Collins has been selected for the G.U.I. National Panel 2015-'16, with John Brady on the Boys' Under-16 National Panel 2015-'16 and Jack McGarry on the Boys' Development Panel 2015-'16.
Gary is one of six new players added to the 18-man squad by the Irish selectors. He was runner-up at this year's North of Ireland, losing out to John-Ross Galbraith on the second extra hole.
'All these players are hard workers and they have the desire to progress, which is very important,' said Ireland captain, Tony Goode.
John Brady has been selected for the Irish Under-16 national team. He won the Connacht Boys' Under-16 Open and the Leinster Boys' Under-16 Open. He will make his first outing on the Under-16 panel in the Four Nations in April next year.
John was also invited to play at the 2015 Darren Clarke Foundation Champions Weekend in October. Invites are issued at the discretion of the foundation to Irish participants who performed well in Irish Boys' and Girls' Under-Age Championships.
Jack McGarry won the Leinster Under-16 Close and has been added to the boys' national development panel for 2015-'16.
Very exciting times are in store for Gary, John, Jack and Rosslare Golf Club which now has vacancies in most membership categories - for enquiries contact firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 05391-32203.
