There was great news for the progressive Wexford Swimming Club at the recent Swim Ireland annual awards in the Titanic Centre, Belfast, when it was selected as 2015 Leinster club of the year.
It was one of 22 awards presented on a glittering occasion for the sport, with Olympic Games qualifier Fiona Doyle and Larne's Conor Ferguson named Senior and Junior performance athletes of the year respectively.
Swim Ireland's Chief Executive Officer, Sarah Keane, commented: 'The annual awards night gives Swim Ireland the opportunity to celebrate the hard work and dedication that everyone puts into our sports. '2015 was a particularly successful year and we are very proud of the achievements of the whole aquatics family.'
