Wexford Youths slipped out of the Under-17 Mark Farren Memorial Cup at the hands of Bray Wanderers in the Carlisle Grounds on Tuesday of last week.

The home side scored in both halves to book a home tie with Tallaght kingpins Shamrock Rovers in the second round.
Youths came into the game on the back of a heavy defeat, despite a reasonable performance, to Airtricity Under-17 League Southern Elite Section leaders UCD just two days earlier, and manager Garrett Larkin chose to shuffle his pack.
Into the team came Cian Doyle in midfield, while Cian Larkin returned in defence.
However, it didn't have an immediate impact as Youths went on to play poorly in the first-half and were thankful to Adam Dempsey for keeping them in the tie with three or four top-quality saves.
Conor Cummins fired a free-kick over for the hosts early on before David Gilshenen cracked a shot off the woodwork.
The home side took the lead on the half-hour mark when attacker Brandon Kavanagh latched onto a short kick-out and fired past Dempsey to give Bray Wanderers the advantage.
Wexford went to three at the back during the second-half and began to improve.
With substitutes Luke O'Neill and Adham Masoud making an impact, Youths put the pressure on, winning several corners but they just couldn't find a way past home 'keeper Ryan Brown.
Midway through the period Wanderers went close to wrapping up their spot in the second round draw when Jack Whelan smacked the crossbar with a free-kick.
With Youths piling forward looking for the equaliser to send the game to extra-time, they got caught on the counter-attack at the other end with substitute Evan White clinching the tie in added-time.
