Bridge Rovers are leading the way

Bridge Rovers have six points from their opening two games after accounting for Taghmon United in Castlebridge on Sunday.

Kevin Murphy, Mark Mythen and Terry Gainfort all got on the scoresheet for the hosts in a 3-0 win.

Corach Ramblers also made it two wins from two as they earned a 3-1 win in Ferns.

The prolific John Staples bagged a double, with Niall Harney grabbing their other goal in an impressive display.

St. Joseph's played their opening fixture on Sunday and they got off to a winning start, edging out St. Cormac's 2-1 with goals from Gary O'Leary and Daryl Gray.

A Paul 'Roddy' Doyle penalty gave St. Cormac's the lead but the Kilmuckridge men fought back to take the points.

Forth Celtic got the better of Wexford Bohs 3-1 with goals from Lee Busher, Pauric Rossiter and Anthony Hayes, while Curracloe overcame St. Leonards 2-1.
