Curracloe girls net magnificent seven

ONLY ONE game survived in the U-16 Cup quarter-finals, and Curracloe were too good for Fastnet and ran out comfortable 7-0 winners.

Rianna Jarrett, Ellie Carley and Julie Coakley all scored two each with Clara Donnelly also finding the net.

In Division 1, Shelburne have moved to within a point of the leaders after a 5-2 win at home to Rosslare Rangers.

Niamh Murphy scored a hat-trick with Patrice Lawlor adding two, while Shauna Carley and Susan O'Doherty replied for Rangers.

Bunclody and St. Joseph's played out a hard-fought 1-1 draw, with Nicole Fortune scoring for the home side while Laura Warren scored for the Joey's.

In Division 2, Duncannon ran out 6-2 winners over Bree while Castledockrell travelled to Gorey Celtic and came away 7-0 winners.
