Gary Doran really made Stoney Rovers 'B' pay the penalty on Sunday as St. Joseph's 'B' came out on top 4-2 in their Gwyn Jones Cup second round tie.

Doran converted a hat-trick of spot-kicks for the Kilmuckridge side, with Brendan McCreary adding their other goal.

Holders Bree United exited the competition as they lost out 2-0 to Boolavogue, with Higor Garcez and Jamie Heffernan (penalty) getting the goals.

Local rivals Moyne Rangers 'C' and Ajax Athletic 'B' played out a thrilling 3-3 draw with Ajax prevailing 4-3 on penalties.

Ciarán O'Connor (two) and Martin Armstrong (penalty) scored for Moyne, with Chris Hendrick, Ryan Dwyer ad Nathan Quinn replying for the winners.

John Donovan bagged a hat-trick for Crossabeg in their 5-0 win over Taghmon United 'B', with Vinnie Sullivan and Conor Keeling also getting in on the act. Wexford Bohs 'B' booked their place in the next round, with Alan Flood and Craig Kelly getting their goals in a 2-0 win over All Blacks.

A Gavin Sinnott goal was enough for Corach Ramblers 'B' to take the win away to Gorey Celtic 'B', while Cloughbawn 'B' overcame Shamrock Rovers 'C' 4-1.
